Job Description
PROPERTY NAME: Regional Office – Dallas, TX

SUMMARY:

Leads the strategic development, assessment, and management of the property marketing department within multifamily asset services operations. Partner with senior leadership to ensure marketing focus, goals, and objectives align with the greater organization. Act as company and department evangelist, promoting both internally to operators and externally to clients, as well as to the industry.


Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead property marketing and property marketing services ensuring all team members deliver consistent, aligned support to all properties.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align marketing focus, goals, and objectives. Also, educate leadership on industry marketing best practices, trends, and emerging technology.
  • Act as company-wide and industry-wide thought leader by sharing information and insights specific to the advancement of marketing technology and trends in the multi-family industry.
  • Provide direction and support to the Regional Marketing Teams while developing best-in-class marketing strategies to deploy, as necessary.
  • Regularly monitor portfolio marketing effectiveness and success. Hold quarterly business reviews with vendor partners to evaluate performance and identify any changes needed. Make recommendations to change marketing mix to optimize performance.
  • Work closely with Regional Marketing Directors in developing department focus, goals, and strategies.
  • Continually research industry marketing best practices and emerging technology and trends. Meet with vendor partners as necessary to stay abreast of any products updates or changes.
  • Proactively communicate with clients, informing them of new technology and trends entering the industry. Attend key industry conferences and participate in select sessions to promote Cushman and Wakefield.
  • Support Regional Marketing Teams in the education of team member’s use of new innovations and marketing partnerships.
  • Strategically lead portfolio wide property marketing initiatives to ensure scaling, adoption, and success.
  • Support the Regional Marketing Teams in maintaining marketing standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Work with Regional Marketing Teams in ensuring that Cushman and Wakefields’s brand standards are maintained.
  • Responsible for the overall online reputation of the property marketing portfolio. Oversee efforts and implement initiatives to improve scores across all properties and lift the company J Turner ORA score.
  • Knowledge of the Yardi product suite is a plus.
  • Other functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience required; multifamily industry experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of supervisor experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a marketing team preferred.
  • Multifamily experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) required in marketing or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Senior leadership experience in marketing with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Positive, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, and ambitious attitude is essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs, including, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and model desired behavior for all Company employees.

Must be able to travel independently.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

25% – 50% travel is required within the continental United States.
