Leasing Consultant – Part-time
Do you love working with people and want an opportunity to help them find their new home? AMLI Residential has an opening for a part-time Floating Leasing Consultant who will work at AMLI Park Broadway but will be required to help at our other AMLI apartment communities as needed. This part-time position’s hours are Saturday and Monday, 9 am – 6 pm.
As the Leasing Consultant, you are responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals. Our Leasing Consultants interact directly with prospective and current residents to maximize the property’s occupancy. You also have the opportunity to plan resident events and put your marketing skills to work. Our “SMART Office” technology engages our customers and creates more sales opportunities for our leasing staff.
Duties Include:
- Lease qualified prospects by showing available apartments. Greet and qualify prospects, follow up on prospective residents, and market the community to prospects via telephone, Internet, and social media/networking programs.
- Process all required administrative forms, leases, and related information promptly and accurately.
- Provide quality customer service and timely response to resident requests and complaints, helping residents and prospects before, during, and after leasing an apartment.
- Maintain relationships with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material. Update periodically.
- Maintain ongoing resident retention program under the direction of the Community/Leasing Manager.ÂÂ
- Participation in resident activities.
- Shop competition regularly.
- Maintain professional office appearance, amenity areas, model apartments, and community. Ensure a professional appearance and manner for oneself.
Starting pay: $21.00 an hour plus earn commissions/bonuses and awards
Requirements:
- Two or more years of related sales or customer service experience.
- HS/GED required college is a big plus.
- Valid Driver’s license for travel to different properties
