Reports to:
Director of IT Operations

Salary:
$90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience

Position Summary:

While this job description is complete, some responsibilities may not be specifically addressed. The Lead IT Operations Administrator will Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, update, and perform activities on various desktop and server computer equipment, peripherals, telecommunications, and network systems; Perform systems administration, software installation, end-user support, and training tasks to ensure end-user workstations and network performance meet company and user requirements. Provide support to staff on all company-supported devices and applications. Troubleshoot problems, resolve issues, document and advise appropriately. In addition, you need to be an accountable, attentive IT Operations Administrator with excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional customer service skills including follow through, attention to detail, a solution-oriented personality, and the desire to bring the issue to resolution
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, a strong ability to establish trust and credibility
  • Provides computer and network support relating to software and hardware problems
  • Administers end-user workstations and supports end-user activities
  • Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct issues
  • Installs, configures, manages, and maintains computers, networks, networking equipment, telephony, and printers
  • Ensures computers, networks, and other IT systems are configured within approved standards
  • Manages and maintains users on domain or local network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards
  • Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the end-users on the network

Qualifications:

  • Degree in related field and 7-10 years of helpdesk, desktop support, or equivalent applicable
  • Professional IT certifications: A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, etc.
  • Ability to lead and train people
  • Assist with leadership responsibilities
  • Ability to manage inventory, policies and procedures, automations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented, well organized
  • Willingness to take ownership and show initiative.
  • Strong project management and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrates capacity for organization, prioritization, and documentation in a dynamically changing environment
  • Ability to work effectively on a team or alone, and work cooperatively with all levels of staff and establish rapport with users
  • Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and provide input for innovation
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn and contribute on a daily basis
  • Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
  • Experienced in Microsoft products required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code / uniform and maintain professional appearance at all times
  • Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
  • Valid and current driver s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance
  • Valid and current passport
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time, as needed
  • Ability to work 5 days a week in the Kirkland Home Office
