Description

Title: IT Operations Specialist Reports to: Director of IT Operations Salary Range: $60,000 ⓠ75,000, depending on experiencePosition Summary: Weidner Property Management is committed to teamwork, through a spirit of honesty, trust and mutual respect. While this job description is complete, some responsibilities may not be specifically addressed. The IT Operations Specialist will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform activities on various desktop and server computer equipment, peripherals, data communication, telecommunications, and computer network systems. Perform a variety of maintenance, systems administration, software installation, end-user support to ensure end-user workstations and network performance meet company and user requirements. Troubleshoot computer problems, resolve issues, and document appropriately. In addition, you need to be an accountable, attentive IT Operations Specialist with excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional customer service skills including follow through, attention to detail, a solution-oriented personality, and the desire to bring the issue to resolution
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, a strong ability to establish trust and credibility
  • Assists in providing computer and network support relating to software and hardware projects
  • Installs, configures and maintains computers, networks, networking equipment, and printers
  • Ensures computers, networks, and other IT systems are configured within approved standards
  • Loads appropriate software and upgrades such as operating systems, office applications, and other approved applications
Qualifications:
  • 1 â“ 4 yearsâ™ experience of helpdesk, desktop support, or equivalent experience required
  • Degree and/or Professional IT certifications preferred: A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, etc.
  • Ability to install, configure, maintain and effectively troubleshoot computers, networks, telephones and related hardware and software
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrates capacity for organization, prioritization, and documentation in a dynamically changing environment
  • Willingness to take ownership and show initiative
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and provide input for innovation
  • Willing and able to travel as needed, up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn and contribute on a daily basis
  • Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
  • Experienced in Microsoft products required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Follow Weidnerâ™s Mission, Vision and Values and comply with all Weidner policies and procedures as well as all Fair Housing, local, state, and federal laws
  • Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code / uniform and maintain professional appearance at all times
  • Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independently, and work cooperatively with all levels of staff and establish rapport with users
  • Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented, well organized
  • Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
  • Valid and current driverâ™s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance
  • Valid and current passport
  • Ability to work 5 days a week in the Kirkland Home Office
