HRIS Project Manager & Analyst

We have an exciting new opportunity for an HRIS Project Manager & Analyst
.
The person in this new role will head strategic and process improvement projects and serve as the HRIS administrator.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Project Manager

  • Leads strategy, delivery, and support of Workday to ensure the HRIS team meets or exceeds service level obligations to internal customers.
  • Manage strategic and process improvement projects with the HR department, including documenting project plans, collecting and documenting status updates, and creating project reports.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for project planning within the department, holding colleagues and teammates accountable for their commitments.
  • Participation in projects for new technology/application implementations.
  • Assist the Senior Vice President of HR with annual strategic planning.
  • Work across teams to assist with project management and coordination involving the HR function.

HRIS Administrator

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the HRIS, supporting teams to understand the design concepts and organizationally defined configuration. Provide troubleshooting support.
  • Assist and coordinate with AMLI’s training personnel to develop training materials classes for instruction on AMLI’s systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (particularly workflow/security).
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders to build reporting
  • Assist in researching new capabilities within the HRIS platform
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of the employee experience and the integrity of the data within the HRIS

Analyst

  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from various sources, including the HRIS, employee surveys, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Make recommendations based on metrics and analysis and partner with the Senior Vice President of HR to improve the organizational culture. This includes attracting and hiring qualified candidates, motivating and retaining employees, addressing staffing issues, and maintaining legal compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Human Resources Management, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required.
  • At least three years of related work experience in project management, data analysis, quality assurance testing and/or HRIS administration
  • Project management certification and/or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws.

  • Fluency in Spanish helpful
  • Travel: 10-15% required.
