Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview:

Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your analytical and technical skills? AMLI Residential is looking to hire someone with experience synthesizing data and effectively translating findings into meaningful business recommendations. As AMLI’s Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for company-wide business intelligence, primarily focused on operations, including understanding and communicating operational and financial performance metrics.

• Develop and manage operational reports using AMLI’s Microsoft Power BI platform. Give feedback and help manage the underlying data layer; create and disseminate management reports.
• Manage and streamline Crystal reporting platform related to Operational Reporting.
• Perform data analyses that further our understanding of various aspects of the business.
• Produce various monthly marketing reports.
• Ensure rigorous quality control over data, analyses, and metrics.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis and reporting as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve upon data collection, analysis, and identification of red flags and action items.
• Make recommendations based on findings from the data.

Hybrid office/home schedule. Our office is conveniently located in downtown Chicago, close to all public transportation.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Business-related field. 2 -3 years experience in a Business Intelligence role preferred.

Advanced knowledge and experience with business intelligence platforms (Microsoft Power BI preferred), database architecture, and the suite of Microsoft Office products. SQL coding experience and or CBIP a plus.
