Assistant Property Manager

Do you want an opportunity to gain experience running a multimillion-dollar apartment community? As the Assistant Property Manager, you will ensure the efficient operations of AMLI Westside under the direction of the property manager.

Duties Include:

• Respond to all resident requests/complaints promptly, efficiently, and courteously in coordination with the Resident Services Group.  
• Help residents and prospects before, during, and after leasing an apartment.
• Assist the community manager in solving resident problems and ongoing resident relations. 
• Analyze, assess, and follow up on Reputation.com surveys for customer satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between Maintenance and Management to ensure apartments are punched on time and ready for move-ins. Work closely with maintenance staff on maintenance-related issues and follow up on service requests to ensure resident satisfaction. 
• Analyze monthly renewals, make personal renewal phone calls for follow-up, and be the first point of contact in touch to increase conversations. 
• Support leasing staff as required; lease to qualified prospects by showing available apartments. 
• Assist with orientation, training, and scheduling of office staff.
• Inspect and monitor the property to identify potential risks or resident concerns. 
• Responsible for the inventory and ordering of all necessary administrative supplies/coffee for the property
• Assist the Community Manager in designing and implementing a resident retention program.
• Inspect models, office, and vacant units as necessary to ensure marketability. Ensure the on-site office is organized and files are maintained as required.

Requirements: We are looking for someone with two or more years of related experience, HS/GED required, and college a big plus. Experience working in the multifamily/apartment industry is a big plus.
