IT Project Coordinator

AMLI Residential has a job opening for an IT Project Coordinator. This role will primarily support Infrastructure, Network, and Systems projects and may additionally support Application Development and Application Support projects.

Essential Functions of the Job:  Plan, coordinate, document, and communication of project progress.  

• Work with IT team leads and business unit partners in documenting the project’s objectives.
• Define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, including a schedule of project timelines.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Direct project teams throughout the project life cycle, ensuring the project tasks stay on track and budget while achieving a high standard of quality
• Prepare checklists as needed for project go-live.
• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
• Provide project evaluations and assessment of results.
• Coordinate the efforts and availability of internal project resources in addition to third-party contractors, consultants, and support vendors.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Prepare and distribute status updates to all stakeholders.
• Escalate project impediments to management as needed, including notification if outlined deadlines or budgets are in jeopardy.
• Ensure that quality and customer service standards are adhered to.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: BA/BS degree in Information Technology and/or project management-related field preferred. 

1+ years of experience managing information technology projects is required-knowledge of the multi-family real estate development process is a plus.

TRAVEL: Light travel for company meetings, education, or one-off project-related needs may be required for up to 10%.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel for work on the keyboard. Employees must be able to talk and hear on the telephone. The employee is required to sit for extended periods. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
